Mixing a Winter & Spring Wardrobe

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyones week has started out great! The weather is beautiful here in Florida, it is hard to believe we are in the middle of Winter! This time of year in fashion can be confusing but it doesn't have to be. With resort-wear in full swing, you may be torn on continuing to wear your Winter wardrobe or switching to your Spring wardrobe. Layering is a great way to handle the weather changes and there is no reason why you can't mix your winter and spring wardrobe pieces together. Also, there are no longer rules about white pants or open-toe shoes. When the weather is warm and springlike, by all means wear whatever makes you feel good when you get dressed in the morning!

So, what's a girl to do? Well...this girl took one of her fav trends and sported it with her Florida girl cut-off denim shorts;)
Tights and shorts were all the rage this Winter, so mixing my Spring 4th&Ocean cut-off denim shorts with my Winter S&T black opaque tights was a must!
Plaid Button Up, Fur Vest, Black Boots, and cut-off denim shorts from 4th&Ocean.
Black opaque tights from Sophie&Trey.
Had to add my wrist-flare and rings:)

This fabulous look can be executed with tweed, denim, velvet, etc!

Floral Knee-Highs and Ivory Knee-Highs at Sophie&Trey.
Layering tights and knee highs is a great compromise during random cold fronts! The great thing about layering is if it gets to be a really warm day, you can always take a layer off!
This knee-high look is not mimicking the "school girl" look but a current and practical way to switch up an easy transition from fall to spring.

Play with tights and socks! Layer both, just do tights or socks, and/or scruch your socks!
Knee-high floral socks and cable knit tights available at Sophie&Trey!
So pull up your socks, show a little leg and start mixing your Winter & Spring pieces!
